Beautiful hats, fascinators, shoes, jewellery, scarves and wraps all add to the perfect shopping experience for women of sizes 8 to 24.
Owner Joyce Clappsion and her team offer a friendly service with impartial advice based on years of experience. Customers are welcome to browse in a relaxed atmosphere where personal service is assured.
Meet the Team
Joyce Clappison
Joyce set up Wat’s On Fashion Boutique over 40 years ago and has since expanded her business interests to include The Barn House, The Barn House Café, The Garden Retreat Spa and a successful property business. Wat’s On has remained her first love where she continues to actively lead her team in providing professional yet friendly service six days a week.
Sue Fieldson
Sue has worked in the fashion and cosmetic sales industry for 30 years and has been a member of Joyce’s valued team for the last 10 years. Sue regularly accompanies Joyce when buying from designers and takes great pride in helping her customers to achieve their desired look, whatever the occasion. Sue is a busy wife and mum and currently works 4 days a week.
Sue Marginson
Sue’s versatility means that over the years she has worked in all of Joyce’s businesses but is now solely employed at Wat’s On and works 3 days a week. Her customer service skills are second to none and her vast experience and bubbly personality instantly puts customers at ease.
Megan Clappison
Megan is Joyce’s eldest granddaughter and started working in the shop as a Saturday girl when she was just 15. She has recently completed an Honours Degree in Psychology at York St John University.
Natalie Thompson
Natalie has worked part time in the shop whilst graduating with a BA Hons in Retail. She also models in the fashion shows and bridal shows.
